About the Carers Companion Fund

The Carers Companion Fund is part of MARLISA's commitment to giving something back to family carers. From every paid subscription, £1 per month goes into the fund to help provide meaningful, practical support for unpaid carers.

What is the Carers Companion Fund?

The Carers Companion Fund was created to make a positive difference to the lives of unpaid family carers.

Caring for someone you love can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also place enormous demands on your time, finances, health and wellbeing.

We believe carers deserve more than recognition. They deserve meaningful support, opportunities and a helping hand when they need it most.

How It Works

£1 from every paid monthly subscription to MARLISA goes directly into the Carers Companion Fund.

For annual subscriptions and funded licences, £12 per year is allocated to the fund.

As MARLISA grows, so does the fund, allowing us to build opportunities to support more family carers.

How the Fund Will Help
Our ambition is to make a genuine and lasting difference to the lives of unpaid carers.

The fund aims to support initiatives that improve carers' wellbeing, provide access to practical assistance, create opportunities for respite and offer meaningful support where it is needed most.

As the fund develops, we will share more information about the initiatives and opportunities it will support.

Our Promise

We are committed to being open, honest and transparent about the Carers Companion Fund.

As it grows, we will share updates on the money raised, how it is being used and the difference it is making to family carers.

Our commitment is simple: to ensure that giving back remains at the heart of MARLISA.

Why We Created It

MARLISA was inspired by personal experience of caring for a loved one and understanding the challenges families face every day.

The Carers Companion Fund is our way of turning that experience into something positive, creating a lasting commitment to the people who give so much of themselves to care for others.

We want to build something that not only makes caring easier to manage but also gives something meaningful back to the people behind the care.

The care you give. All in one place.
